A year after Dellner do Brasil was founded in 2012, the subsidiary opened a workshop in Cotia. This was followed in 2019 by a move to the newly built, larger and more modern facility at the current location in Cajamar, about 30km north of Sao Paulo.
The same year also saw the signing of the first contract for the overhaul of couplers, which were delivered to the customer shortly afterwards. A second milestone for Dellner do Brasil was the homologation process for the overhaul of non-OEM couplers for the Rio de Janeiro metro, which was completed in March 2021.
Since its inception, Dellner do Brasil has successfully completed various coupler refurbishment projects across South and Central America. These included OEM couplers from Dellner as well as train couplers from other manufacturers.
In addition to couplers, Dellner do Brasil’s customer service also specialises in the sale and service of gangways as well as other services for train connection systems. For example, the Alstom trains of the Metro Santiago line were supported with the expansion of Ethernet connections.
