China is extremely important to Dellner. Our trading partners of the China Railway Rolling Stock Corporation (CRRC) represent one of the world’s most valuable markets for Dellner couplers. This importance is reflected in the fact that Dellner is represented at three locations and currently has almost 90 employees in China.

Dellner China supports China’s mainline railways, CRRC overseas projects, and the construction and operation of subways in Beijing, Shanghai, Wuhan, Shenyang, Nanjing, Chengdu and other cities with our couplers, components and services for train connection systems.

A fast growing business

In 2003, Dellner’s business in China started with the establishment of Dellner Train Connection Systems (Shanghai) Co., Ltd. In the following years, we continuously expanded our cooperation with the CRRC. This was followed by the opening of new locations: first in Beijing in 2011, then in Wuhan in 2015, and finally in 2017 with the opening of the branch office in Changchun (closed in 2024). Dellner China continues to work ambitiously to boost its competitiveness and service capabilities to meet the growing demand of our partners in the Chinese domestic market and the CRRC overseas market.
