Following a historical relationship consolidated by trust and reliability in products and highly available customer services with the customer, Alstom agreed with Dellner to supply the new “Mark V” fleet of the Vancouver SkyTrain couplers and gangways.
Previously, Dellner has been supplying train connections and servicing the Mark I, II and III fleets of the Vancouver metro. These new 41 5-car trainsets will replace the aging fleet of 150 Expo-era Mark I cars launched almost 40 years ago. Additionally, the trainsets will deliver extra capacity for the region and upcoming transportation needs and support the Metro Vancouver region´s green transportation growth strategies.
