Snow-Guards

The concept offers an optimized combination of modern and proven Dellner Couplers technology. The snow-/dirt gaiter protects the train front systems in all operational modes against snow, ice or other difficult weather conditions and against dirt, dust or other contamination due to animal accidents etc.

The Snow Protection System offered by Dellner Couplers utilises a combination of service proven technology in order to suit the specified requirements. The snow bellow made by rubber and nylon, provides sealing between the coupler head´s attachment frame, and the train front when running. The front cover is made by plastic, and covers the front face and the electrical heads. When mounted, the front cover on the attachment frame together with the snow bellow, makes that all parts of the train front systems are protected from the external environment during operation.
